Hey, why are you suggesting a 1.8 Si? do you think it does gud on fuel? in my search of vehicles many CAR SALE ppl said that the 1.8 Si does gud on fuel tho, just dat it was not fair enough to belive. buts Si's meter panel is great! anyway. our 97 model CARINA, manual does 700 km for full tank, its used by dad. monday to Anuradhapura - Friday to Moratuwa, weekly.. i should say it was a almost hacked car(only the engine/milage) unlike the new one we bought, but still its does gud on fuel aint it? -------------------------------------------------------------------------- dude, buy a manual TOYOTA car, you can go fine for a CARINA 97 - 99 model OR then for a 110 model, no NISSAN is gud on fuel no Susuki is gonna last long..

Actually a petrol car can almost go ahead around for 400 K for sure to the limit of 600 K, and if taken care gud enough more. dats as i know. LOOK at the older cars? arnt they running well? anyways, ducan is correct, after 200K be very careful, if the car has not been treated nice, you will experience very diff responces from it.

had some questions, and some were answered, but not all. here PPL, in my new carina it has stock tyres and rims which is 175/70/14, but if i want to put some alloys i think atleast i will have to change to the size of 185/65/14. older carina i changed its tyres which was ther wen we bought 185/65/14 to 195/60/14 of course handling is REALLLY gud, the way i take turns the car would have already in garage, but unless for the fast times, all other times i feel dat the car is really heavy kind of to drive, 'cos of the large tyres i have used. i mean its quite heavy to drive u know. please advice, if to keep stock, or if changing wot size to be taken? thanx.

yeh. could have gone to those models you all have mentioned. but from the beginning my parents have been using Toyota, so they trust more on it. secondly it was a manual, which is quite rare to be found with superb condition both exterior and interior, and its very gud on fuel.. thirdly yes, its bit too pricy, it could have been worth for 18.50 around maxium, but on the other hand it was after few months we saw a manual 1999 - 2000 carina with gud condition.. Toyotas have NOT given any major trouble to us ever.. ----------------- -cefiro, sonata, 406, vi-rs - from these options all the first 3 sucks in fuel for sure, too large/bulky,less market value, vi-rs would have been a gud option for me tho..

i lately discovered that the only NSX in SL is at Moratuwa, Rawathawatta. the red one. its pics were posted here some time back. its owned by Gihans brother who lives in UK (as i heard) two weeks back one of my friends --> friends uncle bought a 2 door BENZ 300 - XXXX light green for 34.50 from Gihan. gud condition, but not superb. so i went to see the car before the deal was closed, and i got to know dat the NSX is ther. just some info to be shared

hmmm....few reasons buying this already having a another Carina at home. - budjet wasnt enough to go for a Corolla 120/121 - then we all know its really HARD to find manual new coming vehicles - its Condition it was a max price for the vehicle, but we decided because of the non (less) avalibility of manual transmissions. No. not going to spoil the look by adding a KIT. will just keep it stock other than putting a a/w set. but the older version looks gud with all wot i did.. thankx.

And then if they try to tell something, just go ahead saying you asked this in detail from the commisoner of motor traffic, and that he mentioned it is possible and legal to do so. still if the cops trys to teach you, tell him, OK u fine, i will go against you in the court! and DO it.. 'cos its a true fact and the cop will feel too shitty after going through the books of law.

hmmm...about 3 months back, i was teaching driving to my woman, we had the L boards, and she was driving nicely, then we had to pay a bill to mobitel, and i asked her to park in the mount lavania mobitel,(where ther is a car park 'Taiyo' and upstairs the mobitel office is. and.. here comes the cop ' asking all details, saying that this is the bus stop and its not allowed to park in here and bla bla, and seeing the L boards he asks do u have a driver teaching license? i say No, he goes explanning rules and stuff' and said if everyone can teach driving wot are the driver schools for and so on... didnt argue with him. just asked him not 2 write the fine on the name of my girl friend.. dats all, asked him to write the fine on my name, very politly.. Never mind he asked the NIC from my woman, and wrote it against her name, and mentioned me that the fine would be for both parking and the teaching driving without license 7000/- something... FUxxKKK! called dad on the way home, 'while i was driving' and the case is settled. - u can teach driving to your family members ' son,daughter,sis,bro like wise, yeh could have said she is my family too, but didnt knw dat at the time we got caught.

naa pila. its not the new face. its a 1997 model. Madmax's model which is advertised, claude wanted only 17 for the GP - xxxx plates and its 1998, plus havent reached 1K yet. i offered him 16 + and he said can't. reallly had hopes for the GA - plates but not anymore ---------------------------------- ' yesterday saw Diyath's EVO 6, silver' GJ - 2001 plates. wow! wot a car. same which is advertised in AL, if the black 301 - is around 30, i wonder how much a english plate will worth, heard dat diyaths is the only EVO in SL which has not been hacked, or harmed' being a EVO! nice cars..

well... i dont think the upgrade will happen really, he wants 18.50 for his GA-xxxx plated Carina GT, seems a gud car which is just over 1K, but still.. datz too much. dunno wen i will be able to see a GT parked @ my place, still couldnt find a decent car for my price [ 14.50 -15 around i can afford rite nw], HELP! (if ther are GT's for dat price) and two weeks back checked a 301 - GT, its with lease, 1K + on milage, gud body condition, interior not really and the UNCLE wants 17.75 if we are settling at once. i think he can keep dat car FOREVER!!
