How did you calibrated your fuel gauge. Ideally you have to turn the fuel gauge needle to old ones mark to get the right calibration. Only option available now is pump full tank and turn it to highest position. (Ive done most of above in my gauge cluster and it still working fine and hope you too have a working cluster at the end. Remember not to put excessive force when working with gauge cluster and go through online DIY projects beforehand)

I think I can help you , if you are willing to go in DIY path. Ive replaced my needles and gauge faces along with malfunctioned speedometer mechanism sometime back and encountered few of your issues. (You can easily remove the cluster and individual gauges after going through the service manual) This is the fix for the temp gauge; 1).First remove the new gauge cluster and remove the top plastic cover. 2) Fix the cluster back temporally without the cover 3). Then start the vehicle and let it comes to working temperature. (Wait till your radiator fan comes on and off twice) 4.) According to your post now needle would be at H area. Then very gently turn the needle to normal position (just below the mid point in EGs). Then turn off the ignition and turn on again. 5).Then remove the cluster carefully without touching needles and put the cover back.

There was a similar thread few weeks back and bit of search will direct you to it. Personally I would prefer Fit Gp5.

There's eagle 1 wax in a tube(couldn't remember the exact name), which says shine will lasts for 9months. It don't give the white residue and easy to apply. Ive reapplied after 3 months and its really good.

Did you try at NTN, Delkada ? ( shop which mainly deals with switches, relays, etc)

Check with your local maxxis agent. They have Maxxis Maz1 victra which is 12800 each(195/50/15) and its real value for money. (Mate, think twice before posting your mobile number on a public forum)

Nope, its a EG8. Maxxis is a Taiwan brand with good worldwide recognition. Im using slightly lower profile tyres (195/50/15) so they are not that comfortable. My main requirements are good wet grip and cornering ability and they are superb in those areas.
-
For the given size Maxxis maz1 victra would be a good choice. 12500 each and Im using the second set now. Like others said dont risk your life by using used tyres.

Its about 6-7km from Padiyathlawa town . Its quite different to other places. Water is comming out from a 4-5inch tube fixed to the ground which is about 5-6 feet in height.( Like a larger version of tube well ).
-
Ive traveled upto padiyathalawa few months back and road was excellent upto that place. According to my friend working there at padiyathalawa , its ok upto Bati. @sanjeev, There's another infamous hot water spring at padiyathalawa, which is much more interesting than Maha oya .

From the pic , it appears like all the 4 lights are working with high beam.

Yep, surface is not that flat , but it was not bonding well even before I fixed the board to the car.(kept some heavy weight over night) Like crosswind said could be due to broken fittings. (There are plastic projections along the edge, but they are not holding it tightly. Anyway I'll have to remove this deck board to replace backup cam. Thanks for the tips to both of you. Will get back to you soon when it's removed from the car.

What site do you use to host the images? Imsgeshack is not free now, isn't it?

Will upload few pics tomorrow. Yep,vent is not seating neatly and used more than enough glue( two large Multibond upholstering glue tins used). It was a black rexine.

Reverse Camera Mirror Does Not Get Switch On Reverse Gear
H.C replied to Prashanweera's question in Electrical problems
In normal non branded backup cams comes with two power lines, one to the reverse signal like reverse light wiring and other one to the monitor. Like davy mentioned earlier, if your headunit comes with a option like rear camera interpretation or something similar , you don't need to worry about second power line. If not recheck camera power lines. -
Good write up Davy!. Really helpful. Did bit of reupholstering few months back on rear deck of my eg8. Learned few things hard way. I had difficulties in bonding the curved areas and fixing a plastic vent like part. Still have an issue with that plastic part. (Not bonding Properly ). Any advice ?

Hid Conversion Kit For Nissan Pulsar Cj1-Yom-1998
H.C replied to Nimz77's topic in General Automotive
Running with non branded Chinese kits (h1& h3) on projector housing for close to 3 years now. One ballast went dead within 1st week and replaced under warranty . Like charith I too doing about 500km of night driving per month. So they are not that bad.
