  1. Several guys started the same thread?????
  2. You can check with Unit#d Mot#rs. Meanwhile I saw large hoarding at Lipton circle mentioning all their vehicle prices.
  3. It's around 10-12 and depends on driving conditions, travelling speed..etc.
  4. Hi All, One of my friends had send me these pics. Ideal for tropical country like SL, isn't it?
  5. Adva** offered me a JVC one for a 29k, but I am not sure whether they have a Pioneer one. Pls call them.
  6. shintaro that is the problem. i am just giving an example ok. let us say there is a better garage( Private Non Agent) which could have done your repair in better quality and lesser time and if you go to that Garage SLIC has a policy of putting it on 10 % owners account. It is the time that agents take to repair the car customer complains about That's right, if you are get 100% from IC, you won't have a qulity job in time it's otherway around also. So everybody try to avoid accidenta as much as you can!
  7. A Vios is avaiable for that range. I have seen lot of cab services also usig this model.
  8. Can you check this topic in forum; which has been discussed several times in the past?
  9. Recently I heard a story from "Lakhanda Auto Club". A man had boughht a second hand FB15 @ 70k on clock in Gampaha area and went for a service station for a full service. As he settling the bills, they had entered his Reg No into their system and it came to know that the same car had been done several full services from same place @ a clock of 135+ ks.
  10. These things can happen in any shed. Best thing is to switch off the engine, get down from the vehicle, go near to the pump and get it pumped.
  11. I also agree to evergreen, there are lot of good cars in every aspects better than 1000CC Belta; though they are bit older.
  12. Thanks, very interesting. What about kleen park? Do they do the same thing?
  13. Specially the resale value, you can sell it quickly than a Lancer. Other things like comportable, prices of spare parts, maintenance would be more or less the same. Try to have a test drive on each a and see what is more comfortable in driving and most appealing to you and then make a decision.
  14. Two Lancer models may be better in fuel, but FB15 would be a better choice.

  16. So, silvy what sort of thing should be used to wash undercarriage? I have no idea about this.
  17. Thanks Silvi for these info. Infact I am from waikkal and I am really looking forward to bring my car Negombo centre.
  18. 5.No idea. But never go to M*G C*TY or A*T* M*R*G* . I personally and some of my friends had drastic experiences there. K*E*N P**K is generally oki and that's where im servicing my vehicles and ok with the service. I feel like the normal service stations are same as the big named ones as long as they have the needed crew What you mentioned is exactly right. My company recently bought a KDH200 van. We sent it 1st two services to M*G C*TY and next two services to A*T* M*R*G* and ended upwith Check Engine bulb apearing, ultimately fix out by T*y*tal*nk*. They have added various additives to engine and grabed the money. Only recommend for bodywashes.
  19. Any one saw Upulwan Serasinghe toppling??
  20. Ithappened to 121 but for 110s I don't think!
  21. 100% agreed!
  22. I agree with you that prices of these two models are bit higher thesedays, but don't with as these two models are the couple of best reliable models over the past decade. "Permanent residency at mechanic's" - this all nonsense! Every vichicle if not look after well, would be residing there, may be your one too.
  23. Do you mean that Ex Saloon with splend batch = Super saloon. There is a another thing I want to ask you from all, what is that Gold Badge in FB 15's all about? Poeple ask high prics for these badges, don't they?
  24. I think you can only buy this through agents, To*o*t* *a*k*. I have seen few permit cars on the road.
