I've come across that you can get the heads up display only with the Axela hybrid, not with Mazda 3. For me that's enough to go for an Axela over a 3

There was a time when these buses which travel via places with wild elephants, used to fix horns with higher decibel value which are loud enough to scare away the elephants. The problem is that even the 138 guys also fix them to scare away the pedestrians and small cars from their way.

Actually the road was closed after 6 p.m. because of the threat of a terrorist attack on the Randenigala dam, not because of the wild elephants. If it was the reason, they would have continued it even after the war. I have used this road at night and didn't even see a single elephant. But it's better to accompany another vehicle, a lorry may be. On the other hand I have seen wild elephants beside the road near Thabbowa lake on Puttalam -Anuradhapura road around 1 a. m. ,but I was travelling by a bus. This crazy bus driver even stopped the bus to show the elephants to the few passengers who were awaken at that time. A lady was so mad at him and screamed to move the bus from there.

Well, if you go through some previous threads regarding Vezel, you might come across why it is being hated. Actually there are some people who love it. It's totally upto you or in this case your daughter to decide to buy one and live with it. After all the heart wants what it wants.

Well, don't expect me to recommend a vezle because personally I don't like it. Since she prefers crossovers like "vezle" (I hardly consider it a crossover) , I think of Subaru XV hybrid BMW X1 Mazda CX-5 That's all come to my mind which are unregistered and around 6.5M.

As I know axela shares the same hybrid system from Toyota. If that is so anyone who do repairs for priuses and Axios would be able to do them for axelas. Correct me if I'm wrong. If you are so worried about buying a hybrid, go for Mazda 3. It is the same as axela but with a 1.6L petrol engine. Unfortunately in Sri Lanka you don't get it with Skyactiv. Maybe you can import one with this technology. I guess iRage can shed some light into this matter.

True Davy. Now the Car## rt guys seem to be more focused on Peugeot. I also recommend Maz#a @ Pepiliyana Junction. I live close by to this place and everyday when I am going by this place I see a lot of axelas and 3s brought for repairs. There are enough personal importers who import axela hybrids with Skyactiv technology. They were going around 5.5-6M but hard to say about the current market price.

As I know Car## rt and Col##ials only import Mazda 3 (not the JDM version -axela) So it is possible that they told you not to buy the Axela but 3

I'm sure you might be coming to Colombo at least once a month as it's not far from Kegalle. Try to get tyres from Colombo as they are a bit cheaper and a lot of good brands to choose from.
