thanks don and all, the thing is the windscreen is not partially tinted. its a light brown tint and u can see it only from outside. its only to cut glare i think. they didnt gave a ticket, but took down vehicle number and my name, licance number. btw, how many of u carring vehicle book with u??? bcz they were asking for vehicle book...

Hi All.... this happened to me last saturday evening when im coming back from F**** P*** motorshow... there were 2 cops near royal and they stopped me. then i asked why they stop me. one checked my licence and other one was checking my front glasses and windsceen. there is a lite tint on front glasses which came originaly. also my windscreen has a tint which also came originally. the cop said i should have a letter from RMV saing windsceen is originally tinted or otherwise i have to remove it. they were ok with the front glasses. can somebody give some advice on this pls ???? thanx f50

Hey Velocity, i also recommend hiace... the new one shold be better than the previous one, but famous dolphin model still have a good market. engine types are 2.4 Diesel/ 2.4D EFI TURBO/ 2.8 diesel/ and 3.0D EFI TURBO.. i have used 2.8D and now have a super custom with 2.4EFI TURBO... im getting about 10kmpl out station and 8 in traffic with dual AC... u will get about 3km more without AC... 3.0D EFI TURBO engine is the same engine used for prados (1KZ).. u get this engine in passenger models only.but i dont know about the fuel consumption new hiace specs - http://www.toyota.com.hk/showroom/tmc_hiace/specs.html new hiace pics --- u will love this !!!!!!!!!

whats your van? im using Nankang for our van and its better than GT. its better to go for a larger one like 205 if u r using a Hiace/caravan.
