Painting Front Bonnet

Hi Guys,

There is a small scratch on my front bonnet so I need to paint the entire bonnet when I inspect from Carmart they told they need 3 days. But I couldn't keep since everyday going to office via car so it is hard to get 3 days without Car.

Anyhow I had a chat with Mazna motor they told they will give within a day.

Please provide any comments/alternative place?

CLe*n park hve a service tat will give ur vehicle paintings done in one day...... but the only problem s that u have to wait for a long period for that day to come as they hve work beyond their capabilities....

Why would you go to a mazda specific place to get a paint job done? there's plenty of good paint places around that should get the car back to you within a day.

Ok can you tell me other place where I can do the better job brother. Please note my concern is it should be perfect like bradnew since I bought this recently

kleenpark body shop does a pretty decent job imho! i busted the front end of the car pretty good after ramming a psd escort jeep and they fixed it up pretty nicely!

at the time...they took a bloody long time to do it though...and the supervisor dude was a grade a jackas$s... I hope he got fired or something cos a friend got a touch up job done and he had a good experience.

Another place is AL's very own...velocity's joint in kandana.

yep that's what they advertise. but i had a few scratches and dings on my car and they said they can't offer to same day touch ups, it depends on the job apparently. anyway i got the work done from them, they took 3 - 4 days and i asked them to do a full detail for the car also. overall the result was good, but i expected the paint finish to look a bit glossier; it looked a slightly dull compared to the OEM paint. they did charge a premium for it though.

There’s a possibility to do a touch up insted going for a full paint job. Just check with sp***MEC @ Hunupitiya road, Close to Gangarama Temp.

Spreymech is the worst joint ever, once they returned my car without removing the masking tapes and the paint had so many dust. Never ever go their.

I'm really surprised to hear bad reviews about SprayM*ch. I've done several jobs with them and never had an issue. Only thing is that they are hella crowded- so what I did was to go well before hand make an appointment, then I'd check the day prior if all is ok before dropping the car off. Also its a good idea not to rush a paint job- even if they are behind schedule.

Mr. Paint? Waste of time IMO and crap work-owned by MagCity as well

The guys have already made two recommendations, clean park, and velocity's place in Kandana. Elvis has confirmed that even Spray mech is good when not rushed. What else do you want these people to say ? They have shared what they do know. I say either take their advice or go with your own !

Well if Mr Paint is run by Mag City, I would not trust them with my car. Have made that mistake in the past and never again. Enough said.

I can't recall anyone on this forum recommending Mr. Paint / MagCity - it's all been bad.

However, yesterday I discovered that a friend of mine had given her car to Mr. Paint (dent in rear bumper) so perhaps in a week or two I will be able to share the results.
