what are the models in the new hiace ( KDH series). its quite confusing, i heard that theres a wide wheel base as well...and which is the common one in Sri Lanka? is it the short or the long...both of them look very similar

As far as I remember this was the common model (Wide body - with a minibus like interior) seen in our roads since 2005.

However this new model was a rare sight until last year when recons started flooding into SL.

It was only then I noticed there is also a "Standard body width" model.

This is not the common model in SL. this is the wide-body/ semi-high roof version. The common model in sl is the normal version which comes in DX, GL and Super GL versions.

well i did dude!! and this is what it says "The fifth-generation Hiace appeared in 2005 as a wide long-wheelbase wagon, wide super-long-wheelbase high-roof "Grand Cabin", long-wheelbase van, long-wheelbase high-roof van and a wide super-long-wheelbase high-roof van" but it doesnt clearly say the difference between them!

200 Series - Flat roof, Narrow, Long Wheel Base (you also get high roof versions of this which has similar proportions to the high-roof Dolphin.

210 Series - Semi High Roof, Wide, LWB

220 Series - High roof, Wide, Super Long

KDH and the LH are the Diesels TRH are the petrols.

The one in the picture is a 210 series (probably a 211)
