Engine Tends To Stall

I run a FB 14 car, engine runs smoothly and suddenly tends to stall (rpm reduces) and subsequently ok and again tends to stall. This cycle continues but engine have never completley stalled.

What may be the isuue pls. I have cleaned and readjusted the spark plugs, cleaned distributor and throttle body. Air filter too looks ok.

check your airflow sensor.

Take to A*W and plug it into the diagnostic system. If it's airflow sensor or whatever else it is, it would be able to tell you. From what you say the problem sounds electronic rather than mechanical.

I too had a similar problem in my cefiro. Turned out to be a faulty ignition coil. Was a little expensive but once replaced the issue went away.

I had a simmilar problem in my n16, it turned out to be loose battery terminals.

i've had a similar problem with my car also. issue was that the fuel pump & filter was clogged.get that cleaned as well, then work your way up. sometimes the little things are overlooked.

looks more tilted towards the air flow sensor to me.. but i think worth looking at the petrol pump and filter as zareekz has mentioned..

1) FB 14 runs on electronic ignation, hence no ignation coil

2) I cud not locate the Air Flow Sensor, where is it located pls
