Well land cruiser 202 ,Cygnus,Range rover Sport,Range rover are the most comfortable jeeps that around in SL so if ur lot into Japanese autos u can go for either ones or u can go for a range rover any way non of these are might not very comfortable to ur wallet

yeah, the 4 tyres itself for any of those jeeps would add up to more than 60k.

But if he means 6 million (people really should not use slang or shortened terms if they dont know what they mean) the 'intercooler' pajero should be available.

With a budget of 6 mill you cannot go looking for the most comfortable SUV in Sri Lanka. But if you can increase your budget by about another 2.5 million a Landcruiser 100 65- might be possible. Now that's a cushy ride.

hey thanx guys i want to know weather if i am going around 6ok what can i buy, for example my interests are box model prado, Mitsubishi inter cooler 2800,Prado TZ 1999 and the petrol montero GDI.

Out of that lot I`m pretty sure the Pajero/Montero is the most comfortable. Had to travel on the tiny back seat of a Prado once, it was hell. Have done some off-roading in a Montero, it was pretty decent comfort wise.

hey i think all you guys have some common scene understanding what i mentioned,if you want to be professional be it.but do not forget this a social forum that any one express their ideas, (inter cooler 2800 and 60 k) i think most of the guys would understand what i was talking about. sorry for the professionals. cuz they don't know the vehicle model and the price what i was talking about also it's not rocket science,and do not even bother to give any suggestion to persons like us. ha ha,so guys if i am saying sahara 80 vs intercooler 2800 what will be the best.

If you know what you're trying to say why not just say it without expecting everyone to assume. Omitting something is one thing but saying something INCORRECT is different story. You're new so you probably wont get it. You haveany idea how many people mix up kmpl and mpg and swear by those fuel figures? So thats the kind of "social forum" this is. OK?

BTW, what you find online are either a social network or a public forum, and this is a latter. There's no 'social forum'. Lemme guess you thought 'most of the guys would understand what you say'?

hey i just wanted some advice in a matter i maybe new to autolanka forum but i was with auto lanka since 2006,so why do i need to apologize for thing isn't wrong BTW there are some really good reply's thnx guys for that really appreciated it. and for the senior members(RIPPER and WATCHMAN) try to be nice with the new guys. if some one post wrong try to tell them the mistakes but not giving them pora talk.

You need to apologize coz you DID say something wrong. You said 60k. And not even 60K but 6ok, but we'll ignore that for the moment.

When this is pointed out, what you say is "I'm sorry guys, my bad, I mean 6 Mill, or 60 lacs" or something like that. NOT the BS you just put out.

Its YOUR mistake. Take responsibility for it.

And try an X-Trail or the Sorento/Kyron/Actyon family.

You can claim to have been here since 2006, but as far as we see you've been a member for 4 days and havent even made 10 posts. Or did you think that 'most of the guys would understand that' too? :rolleyes:

And if you have been here since 2006 you should know the difference between 60K, 600K and 6mil (or 6ok, in your case).

And did you get a bitchfit and stop reading my post after the first line. Despite the humor, I told you what I thought would be the most comfortable vehicle for your budget. What more do you want?

You chose to be the bigshot rather than admit your mistake. There's no shame in admitting a mistake. We all do it at some point or the other. But when you try to defend your stupid mistake you just dig your hole deeper. If you were here since 2006 you'd know that.

Only read the rest of the BS after I posted. Don't think I have anything more to add to help the OP.

I do believe it is the Range Rover (not the Sport since the sport has stiffer suspension) that is the most comfortable SUV available in SL closely followed by the Lexus 450/400 (h). None of them available on a budget of 60K or for that matter 6 million though perhaps the Hybrid was possible before the tax rises.

From u'r selection the most luxurious is the petrol montero but it's better to go for a brand new bought non Gdi version due to the GDi must be fed with 95 octane,

The CR-V, Grand vitara rav4 X-trai(unregistered) can be considered, from which the x-trail will be better.

But the petrol Suv's will do less than 6-7kmpl so if u ran a lot it's wise to go for a sanyong or kia sportage (old) hyunadai tucson(old) diesel than going for box prados and intercooler 2800s which r more than 15 yrs old

Dude you can gor for a Montero GDI (2000-2005 V75) it will cost around 4.7 to 5.5 any WAY be careful with GDI ENGINES coz itz one of fali ENGINES in srilanka GDI required minimum of 97 octane so thatz y the Mitsubishi had made GDI for domestic use not for export ,some faults will occur n airflow sensor as well . Other than that Montero V6 version and DID versions are good but it will cost u more than ur budget anyway itz not that difficult to find a bargain,

Well when it comes to 2800 intercooler it's too old i think but any way if u can find 95-96 model with door lights itz even more better than Prados always go for a RED CLOUR THREE TONE version coz it has very good second hand market in sri lanka .also be careful with engine,sunroof and dual ac systems in inter coolers :rolleyes: CHEERS

First of all its 95 octane. Second, it's not the engine that fails, it's the high pressure fuel pump. I'm not sure where you got the airflow sensor thing from but the failure rate is not greater than most vehicles.

Just a thought, why is the first factor this person is looking for in a jeep, Comfort?

A jeep is many things but comfort is not the overriding factor which is built in as its primary function.

Having had / have a few jeeps, the Montero GDI, (Which never gave me any trouble) is the most comfortable jeep I have been in. Off road its pretty good but you dont really hack it there

Ask yourself what the jeep is for, sort out your budget, dont fall prey to rumors / perceptions and go out there and get what you want.

And also be a man and apologise mate, it shows humility and class.
