There are many claims on the mileage by manufacturers,car dealers,importers and users. but my experience has being claims are varying a lot with the actual experience. maybe many factors affect the determination of mileage. i would like to share my experience and welcome others to share theirs

Toyota RAV 4 - 2000cc vvti city 8km/l out 12km/l

Nissan Primera TP12- 2000cc city 6km/l out 12km/l

Toyota Axio 1500cc city 8km/l out 14km/l

Toyota Prius 1800cc city 20km/l out 28km/l

Perodua Viva Elite 1000cc city 12km/l out N/A

Suzuki Swift 1300cc city 10km/l out N/A

Mitsubishi Lancer 1300cc city 12km/l out 15km/l

im confused isn't prius supposed to be giving better fuel economy in city than

outstations. :blink:

Hyundai Tuscani - 35 kmpl in the city. 48.5 kmpl outstation.

Needs to be corrected as 3.5kmpl and 4.85kmpl I guess :angry-smiley-048:

VW Passat 42.2 KM/L City and 45.5 KM/L outstation.

My bluebird sylphy (2004 model 1500 cc)does about 9kmpl in the city and 13 kmpl outstations.

My star ship does 300 million light years per 01 full hyper tank in the galaxy

1200 million light years per 01 full hyper tank out side galaxy !

Alfa 164 3.0 V6 ... 1/4 tank from Malabe to Kolpitty during traffic.... 1/4 back home in the evening... :) Full tank is 70 litres.

Colombo Batti, 2 full tanks, one to go, one to come back... :)

BMW 523i 2.5 I6 ... 6-7Kmpl traffic, 9-10 outstation....

You are having buyer's guilt aren't ya?

You are just trying to convince yourself that you made the right decision to buy that Prius.

In reality this 20kmpl is all bull kakka isn't it... ;)

You just want to compare your figures to ours so you can go to bed happy... ;)

If a Prius buyer is truly that happy, they would not be going around comparing Dicky sizes... :)

(FYI For those who think this is greek, Sifaan's fuel figures are 10e and 10pi.)

yep, there's a parabolic hyperbola function between the accelerator and motorized throttle body, a discrete cosine transform applied on my driving history to calculate optimum gear change ratios, huffman compression is used on the air intake (newer models use LZW), and the reverse parking sensors use a fast fourier transform to calculate distance...
