Hello ladies and gentlemen! It is time for the annual Autolanka awards.President Obama and pornstar Ashley Juggs refused our generous invitation to host these awards so I guess It'll be me again this year...So please vote for your favorite car,noob and thread of the year.

Car of the year - These are the most talked about cars on autolanka this year.Vote for your favorite.Honourable mentions - lexus ISF,Porsche Panamera(s),BMW M5 E60.Mercedes S63 AMG,BMW Z4.

Newbie of the year - Members who have joined on or after 01-oct-2010 and has more than 350 posts are eligible for this.Vote for the noob you think deserves this prestigious award.

Thread of the year- Self explanatory I think.These are the most viewed and commented topics this year,the ones that I can remember anyways.You can vote for multiple choices here.

Moderator of the year award goes to Pericles.who's not only handsome but also very charming...hee...(in case you fail to take a hint Peri,this is me kissing your backside...now will you please reduce my warn lever or atleast buy me a jumbo jolly.)

Wow! Its dead close between the SLS,GTR and the evo....awesome!

As Peri said,we're talking about a particular car that has grabbed the attention at AL.If I put the Prius in general I'd have to put up Allions and Sunny's aswell.But if someone had brought a noteworthy special edition Prius and if it had been discussed at length here I would have put that up for vote.

If somebody wants to start a vote for "mainstream car of the year" or "hybrid car of the year",please go right ahead.I have no issues

Allright people,voting is officially over.

And we have a tie for the Car of the year award.the Merc SLS and Ashan Silva's amazing evo.One is a state of the art German growling monster and the other a 15 year old "giant Killer" which has a huge fan base among the Lankan racing scene.Congrats to both their owners.A special mention goes out to Darin's fab GTR which missed the title by just one vote.

Newbie of the year is the Stig.I hope he carries the title better than last years winner jdnet,who unfortunately was involved in a sex scandal with Ripper and Watchman....Congrats to Stiggy and also to the other newbs who were nominated.Nno matter how many votes you received you are an essential part of the AL community.Keep up the good work.

Thread of the year is "Expressway Updates" started by La Sabre.A timely and a very valuable thread well deserving of the title.

A big thank you to MADZ for AL forums and for constantly updating it,and to the handful of regular seniors here who are always willing to help out with genuine advice and their experience.

Finally a thank you to everybody who voted.Have your selves a Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year!
