Viva Elite 2011 September Orders

Hello guys,

I want to know anyone receive viva elite that orderd in last september.

UNIMO guy told me they will give the car by december but still not received. I knew they would never give it by december.

so want to know anyone received the car

Dude , We have 3 Viva Elites in our family. My uncle ordered Viva Elite (standard auto) around last week of August 2011. Anyway as vehicle is getting delay day by day, he changed it to Premium model and got his vehicle around 07th of January 2012. (I think they had a premium car in extra or due to cancelling an order).

You keep continuing calling to the person who handled your sale. Also call to the general line and check the arrival dates from some other sales person. If the situation is worst, call to Manager Mr.Lionel too. You have to push them continuously. Don't depend on the answer of your sales person. I also did the same.

so you mean people who push the sales person would get the car without waiting for long time?

I think some time ago they had manual version of the Viva ex-stock. They can't give you cars they don't have unless somebody else cancels an order. But you might have to become a pain to ensure that they do deliver your car by the promised date.

Definitely you have to wait for few months. But by pushing them at lease you can minimize the waiting period. :smilie_liebe9:

Two weeks ago Perodua guy told me that there are 2,800 units to be shipped and if you order now, by end of May / early June 2012 you can collect the car.

Hi All,

When i bought my 1st Viva in early 2008 they had stocks. I took home the car next day. When i odered the next one in 2011 i had to wait for almost 5 months. In 2008 when i call them for an oppointment for the service i able to get the next day or day after. When i did it in 2011 i had to wait for 3 weeks. I think their customer service is getting worse now. I saw many comments in threads that their customer service is really bad when it comes to sales. With all that keep in mind the things we told in threads about the prices. When you order the car its one price and by the time when you recieve the car its another. Remember what happen to the new Elites came with the Immobiliser. When people order the price was eg 15.95 and by the time you recieve it the price is 15.95 + 25K.. You may find enough of lies that the sales ppl will tell you if you go through the 'Viva' threads..

Those who are thinking of buying this car please please go through the threads we post and then decide. Still if you decide to order, don't complain that you didn't get your car on time or didn't recieve the car at the same price they said when you order. Also please tell these things to anyone who is going to order not knowing these facts.

Yeah the viva is defenatly value for money. much better than the other brand new cars in it legue. But one of my freinds also placed an order for a viva standard auto in september. The delivery was expected in january but still havent arrived.

Hi Guys,

I ordered in Mid June 2011 and got the car in late Oct 2011 after many calls and changing the initially ordered colour.(orange)

It doesn't seem as they get down the cars according to orders. According to them there were 2 orange cars for the whole shipment & these also was on manual transmission and I had to go for pearl Jade to get a car from that shipment. Seems some colours are rear.

You really cannot trust Unim@ Sales ppl mate.. They are the biggest liars on earth. If they tell that your car will be available in Feb, keep your dates as April.. (They promise my car to be delivered in May 2011 and i got it in Aug 2011)

I think the TV ppl can start a new reality show “Liar Star”.. Def Unim@ will win.. :sarcastic_hand:

Well all agents are liars, not only unimo. My brother ordered a maruti fro A*W on last august and even though thery said they'll dilever on october he recieve it on december. So it's not one agent all are same

Anyway A*W delivered ur car in December where your place ur order in last August. Unim@ has not delivered the cars who place orders in September. Now its almost end of Feb. And the price is getting higher and higher..!! So finally when u order from Unim@ you dont get the car in promised date and promised price..!!!!!!!!! :angry-smiley-005:

Well few of my colegues ordered a Elite on august and they recieved it on november. So unimo had given car sooner than A*W. So thats why i said all agents are same.

Machang this could be the case with Perodua, who are a small company. I think it's biggest market outside Malaysia would be us. But KIA and Hyundai? They are massive car companies which don't have resource or infra structure limitations. Forget about the delays caused by the local agents with the service appointments but they should at least shorten the delivery lead times.

I know this off topic but ordered a Sorento in August last year and still waiting for it. They say it won't be coming in March either. Don't have much hope in April either as some June orders are pending as well.

Don't think anyone who ordered a custom made hand assembled Ferrari has ever had to wait this long for a car.
