Brand New Car Under 2.2M

Hi everyone,

I've a project in Sri lanka, I'll stay here for next 2 years & my mother company wants to buy a brand new car for me

They have following requirements.

1) The price should be under US $20,000 (LKR 2.2 M)

2) Non Indian product

3) Able to drive 6000Km per month up to 2 years (Colombo - Kandy)

4) ABS , Driver + Passenger Air Bags & Fog lights

could you please tell me what are the available options for me.

2. Are chinese or Malaysian Products ok? Kelisa, Viva, Panda, MX7, Savvy (not sure about this one), Ford Figo (assembled in India)

3. Not sure about Chinese vehicles but generally this is achievable

4. Panda has all these features

2) It doesn't matter Chinese or Malaysian

3) Ok

4) How much is "Panda"? How about Viva?

I have checked up yesterday with few new car dealers yesterday for a new car under 2.5 Million for immediate purchase, all of them say one month to three months fastest is Indian cars 30 days delivery.

Well 6,000 KM a month would be 144,000 KM in the two year period . I guess only time would say how the Panda would survive such usage without any major break downs!
