not really on topic, but what do you think about attaching rare earth magnets around oil filter? does it make any difference in filtering oil?

surely it will not catch non metalic particles.

Its another excellent gadget. It collects all the metal particles that people claim to fall off engines in bits and blobs. The magnets holds on to them, preventing them from getting mixed up and killing the engine, a bit like Tony Stark's arc reactor.

But one fine day while driving down Saranankara Road with your GF/BFs hand on your crotch you lose concentration and go over the humps a bit too fast and the magnet falls off, releasing the hitherto imprisoned metal particles like a shotgun blast in to the engine and whaaaammmmmm.... one of you will explode rather messily...

You guys need to keep in mind, the internet is an archive. This data will be around for years. So even years later after you guys have left, someone can search and find this stuff, and they don't know you guys, and don't know ur style is to joke. And then they get misled.
