Guys i need to buy my dad a gift for his birthday and i hv about 500,000 to bust(i am still schooling sold my r6 to get this cash)so i f u guys have any idea plz let me know

A nice idea but sadly I dont think you can get a 4dr5 for that price. If you're keen on getting a vehicle, i think a Mini might be the best option. There's a few in the classified slightly above ur budget but you should be able to manage it.

Or how about a trip to Europe or Africa or something like that?

Wow 500k birthday present!!!....and to think all I got my father for his last birthday was a tooth brush and a Clarence CD... :S

You know I come across this "I'm buying this car for my dad/mum" thing a lot...and somehow I find it to be a load of BS.

Great stuff mate, try for a mini.. or if he's a petrolhead try to make one of those engine block coffee tables.. and it won't cost much

Dingy, its a little difficult to get a "good vehicle" in that price range. A Golf will be nice but I'm not sure if there are many GTis of that genre in SL. A Celeste is a better bet but even with those only a few examples were available and I haven't seen one in a while. There was a lovely Fiat 600 for sale a couple of months back for 350K and that type of car would be ideal if your dad is into classics. Personally it sounds like your dad has enough money to buy himself any vehicle he wants, so the thought is wonderful but perhaps you need to think outside the box a bit .....?

Dingy, Finding a 4DR5 for that price range is really difficult, but how about a Beetle? You can get a good 1300 bug for that price :)

There was one with a 1600cc twin carb engine had all round disk+ semi bucket seats in front. Was advertised on HitAD last Sunday :) Your dad would enjoy driving around in a car like that

don't you like to rebuld a 4DR5 as a hobby?

i would like to but it will cost a lot mored than 500k.......

and i at the moment i am rebuilding a suzuki gsx 400 so i dont think he would like me doing another one aswell

Clearly when someone suggests something you shoot it down so what's the point... Or is it you just trying to be a pora by showing that you're buying your dad a car (with money that came from him to begin with :roll-eyes:)
