0 chan5
thanks for your ideas.my best choice is mazda astina. And.how about the peugeot 206.(maintaince, fuel and resale value) i don't think that a 206 (Well maintained sample )will come below 1 million. It does 6-10kmpl according to how soft you're on foot and traffic level. Resale value- less than toyota - as per average european car. Maintenances- straight forward easy, parts oils, filters are available. Mind you some samples have chronic clutch plate issue and read the forum about that. If you decide on a peugeot ,consider, 1-Brand new import. 2-manual gear , 3-first owner, 4-maintenances history at agents or peugeot specialist. 0 The Don
thanks for your ideas.my best choice is mazda astina. And.how about the peugeot 206.(maintaince, fuel and resale value) Never buy a modern Pegeot because of budget. Particularly when buying a European car the quality of maintenance and service record is more important that purchase price. So if you are pressed for funds, stick to a good Japanese car. They seem to be more tolerant to our maka basses, dodgy petrol (at least ones of the vintage you're looking at) and harsh climate and roads. If you can find even a 1.3L brand new imported AE100 it would be ideal for your budget. Not sporty but very hardy and many seem to have survived very well. I think the internal plastics were superior to say the ones used in my Mitsubishi which has suffered UV related deterioration.
