Yes! It is 6.9 million for the $25000 permit.

Damn.. From what I heard the F30 320D gets some options that the 520D doesn't such as xenon headlamps, retractable mirrors, real leather etc.. Any idea if it's true?

Cost without the permit was Rs. 7.4 M and Rs. 8.8 M

Agent charges were Rs 1.5 M + Vat which I thought was too much

Have they reduced the charges for the price to come down to Rs. 6.9 M

Yes. But still it will cost 8.1 M (1.2 M permit price + car price)

Better yet....an E90 320D with a Prius Engine and drive train transplanted in to it ! Best of both worlds

And then swap out the petrol engine of the prius and retrofit the e90 diesel so you'll have a e90 320d chassis with prius drivetrain and 320d engine combined with prius electric synergy drive? Should give u around 22-25 kmpl in colombo and around 30 out i'm guessing
