LancerL
Dear friends, I’m planning to buy Geely MX7 MARK II (Manufacture year 2012-2013) sold by micro and looking your valuable advices on below areas. Fuel consumption in city areas and outstation After sales support from Micro Spare parts availability in company and outside Eg: Panchikawatta Any known manufacture defects – some people complains that this has some radiator fan issue. Please share your experience. Thanks, LancerL Edited April 9, 2014 by LancerL
Crosswind
It's got the same engine as Toyota AE110, but the engine is made in china. Build quality is pretty bad. Fuel consumption is about 11-12 in city limits. The A/C compressor is massive and it affects the fuel consumption a lot. Engine parts are not an issue but for other parts, you may have to be dependent on Micro (at least for now). The biggest issue will be with the interior plastics. They will just fall off once in a while. Please keep about 10 tubes of superglue with you if you decides to buy it. 1
chan5
I can give you 4 answers as this. 1-dont bother 2 - dont bother 3- dont bother 4 - dont bother. Conclusion - dont buy it. Reasons. Not valuble for amount you spend. Poor quility of interior. Crappy stereo. Road noise is so obvious. Engine noise is so high into cabin. Lights become yellowish within few months. Door winders jams easily. stupid thud noise when closing doors. Poor acceleration. comes as manual as i remember. Rattles with usage of few months. List goes on and on. One of my friend use one and believe me, a 15 year old jap is far more better. With the price you pay,you can consider. 1-Civic ES 2- Lancer CS 2007/2008 3 - Vios or belta 4 - 110 5 - mazda axella 6 - Carina AT 210 Edited April 9, 2014 by chan5
