I have Nissan D21 Facelift Pickup (Embose Model) and need to Lift body.

1. Does any know the procedure to lift the body up?

2. Where can I buy the body lifting kit in Sri lanka like below set which is available in ebay?

Did you try with ironman or mot*rc*de. either way whats your requirement a body lift wont give you the ground clearance a suspension lift would give you

Thanks for the reply. I need to change the tyre size into 31X10.5 R15. Thing is tyre might get hit with wheel arch. I need to lift up just 50mm. Do you have any contact no or address of Iron man Sri Lanka.

are you sure im running the same size mastercraft all terrains on factory alloys havent had a problem. Google god will give you the desired result.

To add to what YALA mentioned, body lifts kind of give a 'weird' look. Since you're swapping alloys and tyres, why not go for a suspension lift straightaway? You will clear the tyres, improve ground clearence and improve overall suspension performace to match the 'look' :)

Also it might not just be the wheel arch which you might hit you might also hit the chassis or the bracket closer to it, so before you dump in all the money best you hookup a set a see what sought of clearance you need before hand.

Can I ask, why do you have the logo of iron man 4x4 and then asking for iron man address? I mean its a bit weird. Do you work for iron man?

If you do, can I ask you just purchase advertising on auto lanka rather than trying a guerilla marketing.

If you don't why don't you use Google to find the details.

Hmm...this is interesting...never done a "body lift" before so I have to ask...now normally the body lies on the ladder/frame (with the frame having quite a lot of contact with the body) thus I am presuming the weight of the body is distributed across the whole ladder/frame ?

Now with these kits...do they just simply get inserted between the body's mounting points and the ladder/frame ? So there is a gap between the frame and the body ? If so how strong are these things? or will it not damage the body ? or am I missing something here ?

iRage, I don't have a cab to have a look but I think the truck body is on inserts like this anyway, just not as tall. Bolting metal to metal, when you have chassis flex and body flex is probably going to quite noisy

Thanks Don, I actually checked under my neighbor's car (a 2nd gen Hilux Surf). The main mounting points have a thick heavy looking mount, the gap between the frame and the body is barely a centimeter (I could only put the tip of my index finger in) and along the frame there are rubber inserts sandwiched between the frame and the body (the body had s circular squashed area so that the insert could sit against it). So I guess that prevents any "flex" squeal by mounting metal on metal but also adds a bit of support if need be by not totally putting everything on the main mounts ? Also the frame going over the rear axle (the humpy bit) had more space between the body and the frame perhaps due to the shaping of the body's wheel arch.

There is a Ford Ranger as well in the parking lot but it is parked in a puddle of water..tempted to creep under that tomorrow....

Thanks iRage for comment. As you mentioned on Toyota surf there is small space between body and chassis ladder in my D21 pickup. I have changed those rubber mounting before and put new set og mountinf too. What I need to do is put metel plates between those rubber mountings.

Actually I have lifted from suspention by adjesting leve springs and front torshion bars
