Best Car/van Between 8 - 10 Lacks.

Dear Friends...

I have an idea to buy a car / van(small one like vanette). My budget range is 8-10 lacks. What kind of car/van can I get?

Main concerns are budget, fuel and reliability.

Looking for your advices and references.

Apart from that, Nissan TRAD sunny is a better option for you because though its older, you can find a well maintained good condition car with some options too.

you can find a good early 1990s honda civic eg-8 for around 10 lacks. it will cover all your needs

But most of thos threds are very OLD. Last 3 or 4 years srilankan car prices changes very much..
at the moment as we know srilankan vehical market is not doing well and car prices have gone down.

we can see AE110 are priced from 13lks to 21lks . So if you guys can reply with current market ..it will be very valuble..

you can find a late 80`s d21 for around 8 which is in very good condition. less maintenance and diesel.

Yes it is.

AE110 has a higher market value all the time as well as AE100. No matter how old, they still worth it seems.

I suggested Nissan TRAD sunny because you may easily be able to find a better one for may be a bit lower than what your budget is and the rest you can spend to do the enhancements, services and repairs to get the car back into track as you wanted.

If you consider buying an old vehicle, always keep some amount in hand and you do need to fix certain things if you need it in a good condition. I think it is better to give her a full service including every oil change, belt, coolant...etc after buying so that you will know even if it is an older vehicle, it won't brake down as you go.

Spare parts availability, Ability to repair easily and less maintenance cost is very important too.
