Alloy Colour

Hi guys,

Can somebody tell me the colour I need to ask from paint shop to get this colour for wheels? is there any special paint for wheels? Thanks in advance.

I believe a simple Google search for "BMW Gunmetal Grey" would give you the answer.

On the topic - are there special paints for alloy wheels- perhaps more harder/tougher since they go through more?

yes, its called "BMW Chrome Shadow" finish. but what I need to know is how to get the correct colour code from a paint shop? would they be able to get me the correct colour if I show them a pic?

BTW got the colour code, It's - Wheel Paint - Shadow Chrome - Color Code A56

Wheel paint is slightly different as they have to sustain higher temperatures.

And as long as you have a paint code, a paint shop can mix and give it to you without issue. You should mention its for alloys, though from the code they would probably guess that.
