I WOULD LIKE WHERE I CAN BUY A RECONDITIONED ECU UNIT FOR VITZ AND ITS PRICE?

What's the issue with your current ECU?

The Eps light is on.i scanned the fault and its says faulty Ecu.so the technician recomend to replace it

Error codes are giving by checking some parameters (voltage, current, etc.) whether they are up to required value or not. Some times, some external issues (other than ECU) could be reasons to drop or high this parameters and then it can be identified as fault of ECU. As your EPS light is on, there is a high possibility of the fault in EPS system other than ECU. So, better to study further. Any way, if the fault has confirmed as ECU by other investigations too, then you have to change ECU.

Do you know the DTC number or numbers, if there are more than one (it is something like C1511/11...some scanners show it others do not)? Also does your power assist work (steering is not tight) even with EPS indicator ON?

First the steering wheel became shaky with rattle noise and within a few minites the eps was on and steeri g became hard

That means power assistance is no longer available. What gayanath has pointed out above is true. ECU is the last thing to suspect although for each DTC in EPS system ECU is also indicated. However the agent should have tools and specs to diagnose EPS issues and give you a better idea. (But my past experience with them is not so positive).

Today i replaced a reconditioned ecu and the issue is solved nw. The ecu cost me 24000

the ecu unit was got down by the auto work shop(in galle) from colombo and it was a used one

Yes of course .the situation is back to normal
