What is the exact requirement ? to keep the battery in good shape when not being used for weeks/months ? or just to charge a dead (fully drained) battery ?

Here you go.

Out of that lot Jay Leno mentioned this brand as doing a good job on his cars.

Personally I prefer battery chargers such as this one which can start a car that has a dead battery right away. Not the best thing to do, but its certainly a handy feature to have, especially for a car that has a bad battery which won't hold a charge.

battery changers you can purchase from 1st cross street. before that check good brand other than cheap Chinese one. Chinese battery chargers can purcase around 3k-4k in pettah

@ NRX - thanks. Requirement is - I work outstation & the fully charged battery is dead after 5- 6 days, each week.
Anyway - I didn't arm the alarm system this time - thinking the system has some sort of effect on the battery - hopefully it'll be ok this weekend.

@ Kavvz - thanks for all the links- if I'm unable to get locally, now I have the option of going for a recommended brand.

@ dhanuFB15 - thanks for the info. Have you bought any from there? If yes what are the good brands? [& pls let have contact details - if allowed by the admin]
