18W Spot Lights For Each Side

A little DIY project for my jeep which I had this in my mind for sometime because, it bothers me a lot when I turn in extremely narrow corners at night though its on or off road. So I mounted these 18W LED spot lights each side of the chassis and now its bright enough for me to see where my rear wheels are just by looking at the small side mirrors.

It's worth to have.

There are pre drilled holes in the chassis. So i used them.

For a second there I though you went "breaking the grain storage and making a chair" on us by drilling into the chassis and weakening it just to install lights on the jeep, but I should have had more faith in you!

Nicely done. So what do you use this vehicle for primarily? Is it reserved for off-road use or do u still use it as a daily driver?

Could be quite useful at night.also as a warning light for unsuspecting bikers trying to overtake, when you make a turn,in traffic at night time. Is it connected to blinker or park light? anyone tried on a car with lower ground clearance?

My bible says never touch the chassis. So i never think of drilling it anyway.

The vehicle is used for both on and off road. Even in Colombo and i don't do hard core off roading.

Initially i thought of connecting it to park light or to the blinker. But ended up having a separate switch at my custom dash board so that anytime it can be on and off.

Yes 3 wheels and bikes never come close.
