How was the felt filter ? A lot of people demonize it saying it does not last as long as the pure (ideally multi stage) metal strainers...

So mine had a milage of 80k before cleaning and reinstalling. Wasn't clogged as such but was a bit dirty. I assume that it might last for another 40k. 😅

The filter looks Ok after the clean up  - also noticed it's manufactures in USA ??

best you have a check around 35K - just to be safe.  The cost for a busted box can be painful - having had to go through it with a BJ5W due to the past owners not looking after her properly.
