Radiator and cooling fan

I own a Honda civic eg8 and when the car heats up,both the cooling fan and radiator fan starts working,and when the a/c is on both fans are yet again working.

Is it supposed to do that or is only the radiator fan supposed to work when the car heats up while the AC is switched off.

Someone must have changed the wiring so that both fans work together. Do you have a overheating problem say when you go uphill? Whoever did the wiring change must have done it to circumvent an overheating problem. First try to sort that out before attempting to normalize wiring.

Out of a long history of abuse and niglect, the last symptom happens to be delt with the re-wiring of the cooling fans,.. May be some hidden hiccups under the bonnet

Blown head gasket? Wrong timing,clogged cooling system, the list of possibilities go on../
