Need advise on replacing tires

Dear all,

I'm having a  Honda GP1 and this morning I had a flat tire. After removing the tire I noticed the edge of the tire is badly worn and the canvas is visible. Since all the tires are more or less in similar condition I decided to replace all four tires. The original tire size is 175/65 R15. I spoke with two tire dealers and one offered me GT, Maxxis or Roadstone for 11200-11500 each. The other told me this wear is an inherent issue and even if I replace the tires, after some time will get the same problem and advised me to replace the tires with 185/65 R15. He offered me  (185/65 R15) Continental for 13000 and Good Year for 12250. Please give me your suggestions as I have no idea what to do?. Thanks.

Get the alignment checked, wheels balanced, and maintain recommended tyre pressure with periodical wheel rotating.

Worn out the edge is not an issue of the tire and changing the size isn't solving it. 

TT said it all and all parts and nuts and bolts should be checked. A good place that does wheel alignment can narrow down your problem.

The dealers are trying to get you by selling wider and taller tires. As others said solve the alignment issue first. Otherwise you new tires will also suffer. And check if this size is recommended by the manufacturer.

Since we talk about tyres, be aware that some tyre shops sell outdated or not used but too old tyres. check the tyres before installing it to your car.

At least check the year before buying it.

The price difference between Continental and Roadstone/Maxxis/GT is only 1800-1500/= per tyre 

and the Continentals being wider too
