Nano Coat is said to be the most promising solution to protect the vehicle paint from acid rains etc.. but this is very expensive ranging from Rs. 45 k to 70 k. Instead what are the affordable methods and where are the available?

Why don't you wax the car regularly? Waxing should be enough to protect the clearcoat from acid rains and hard water spots imo.

Thanks.. Any suggestion like spray wax? This is often missed due to time it takes though at the beginning we all take the maximum care..

All of these coatings are basically just an added clearcoat like layer, all of them will wear off eventually. For the price of those things, you can easily get your car waxed once a month at a proper place for years on end and still have cash left over.

Is it recorded any acid rain so far in SL ? I dont think. If so we dont need to worry about it.

I use Eagle one nanowax spray - it's cheap, makes the car shiny and prevents water spots.

Unit#d Mot#rs has some offers these days. When you buy 2 nano waxes, you get one free. So the average cost comes to about Rs.662 per bottle.

Or you get 25% off on Eagle One & Simoniz products if you have a HNB credit card. (Valid till the 30th of April)
