power steering problem

Hello forum. 

Please can anybody help me

I have just brought a 2005 307cc i have just noticed that when i start the car the steering is very heavy but when i move forward it goes back to normal what do you think the problem is?

does it have a belt driven power steering pump or Electrically driven pum?  maybe theres a delay in building up of pressure after starting, how long does it take to become smooth?
