I have toyota carina Gt 1997 Manuel car. 1600 cc - It does 9 km per L in outstations. What should I do for fuel consumption. Thanks lot.

Sell that beauty of a Carina GT and go buy an Axio Hybrid.

Apart from that....do some basic maintenance....swap air filter, clean the plugs, keep tires pressurized properly, depending on the mileage swap the transmission oil in an AT and the AT oil filter, etc...

What is the mileage on it ? Is the transmission operating properly ? Does the engine feel like it has lost compression ?
