0 Davy Posted May 17, 2019 Share Posted May 17, 2019 Check for a blown fuse first. If that's fine, take it to a good electrician. If you are up for it, you can do a continuity check by using a multimeter. This will tell you if the clockspring inside the steering column is faulty. To do this, you will have to remove the steering column trims near the pedals, locate the wire harness coming down from the steering, use the multimeter terminals on the common pin and each remaining pin while pressing each button momentarily on the steering wheel. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
0 VidurangaB Posted May 19, 2019 Author Share Posted May 19, 2019 Thanks Davy.. but only the left side buttons of the steering wheel not working.. right side buttons are perfectly working.. also suddenly yesterday car trunk stopped opening using smart key.. locking unlocking using smart key works fine and trunk opening using driver seat key & trunk button also working fine.
