electrical Toyota Aqua Airbag Ribbon Replace

Hi Experts,

My car-Toyota aqua G 2013, has indicate airbag warning light in dashboard recently. but not showing every time,time to time its happening. As per the technicians in hy**d-h*b, i need to replace airbag ribbon & angle sensor in the multifuncional steering Weel. Do you have any idea about this and reasonable place to get done this?  and what will be the cost around?

I think you meant multifunctional. Did they do an ECU scan? You'll have to spend upwards of 15,000/= for the ribbon itself, depending on where you buy the part.

yes. and they have done the scan. any idea about cheaper place to done this?

Sorry, I don't. Which area are you from btw? Someone else in the forum can surely recommend a good place though.

Why not Toyota Lanka themselves? 

 

They had an airbag recall campaign on for the Corolla and Vitz - perhaps they can help?
