I started restoring my Mercedes Benz W202 and had a bad experience with the Upholstray restored guy who is at Anderson Road Dehiwala. Please be careful with him he can mess up your beautiful vehicle and find faults in the vehicle or you by giving many excuses. I spent LKR 40,000/- for the 6 side columns, rear parcel tray and the head liner. I will have to do it again. Be aware of this guy.

Would you check with Gunawardana Cushion Works at Wijerama if they have any upholstery guy that they recommend?

Yes, as far as I know Gunawardana Cushion Works does not do upholstery work but I bet they have some some contacts as many restoration people go there for multiple things. They are very nice people, especially the elderly original owner.
