Soo, since I got the 20l today I thought of going to pump fuel since I've done 120km (Spirited Driving in Convoys often means I do about 6-6.5kmpl) and to my surprise car only took 14l after a lot of trying, suggesting 8.5-9kmpl average for city driving. I guess now we know how much 2.4 Liter Camry's do in City if you use the AirCon Sparingly· 2 replies

Question
kalingabd
I have an allion (2009) - I am the second owner of the car and the genuine mileage is 129000.
I have done all the oil changes (including CVT on time)
I have an issue on my allion where I get a burning smell when I accelerate rapidly. Lets say, floor the car to rpm 4 or likes. There is a burning smell that comes thru the vents (likely) and it goes off as well - the car races and accelerates. I checked for oil leaks and there was an oil leak on the tappet cover and I did that repair - but the issue did not go away.
Have you guys faced a similar situation?
Can it be related to my gear box?
Please let me know any suggestions. thank you.
