I'm thinking what operating system should I use.

What operating system would you suggest?

Microsoft gives you Windows, Linux gives you the whole house.

Yes but which one, I'm asking like Linux mint or Fedora, Basically I want some operating system like a mac.

Unlike Windows, Linux has many distributions. The choice depends on user preferences, hardware, etc. If you want something like mscOS you can use Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Fedora etc. Most of them come with LiveCD / USB images, which means you can try without installing. So you can easily try some of them. I currently use Debian and Ubuntu and the kids computer has Mint/Lubuntu

• Windows is the best so far I've seen to do my work.

 

• Some of my friends got Macbooks and using Windows VM for work. Here's a screen capture from a meeting I was making fun our Database Admin. (had to black out the middle to hide work data)

 

 

• Linux is fun to learn and do experiments. Mint & Ubuntu seems to be the easiest to play with. Supports pretty much all drivers.

Thanks for the idea's. Just telling, I don't want to do that much work just to do a makeover of macOS Big Sur. Basically i want something which you don't need work to do, and it feels like mac already. Thanks for the suggestions, too!
