Bought A Pressure Washer!

Kim

Recommended Posts

Yeh, ther is another pipe to play with detergent. it will be only active in the low pressure mode tho. SOO... when u take off the high pressure nozel, and if the detergent pipe is inside a basin/cup with water and car wash mix, it will pull it from ther and from the hose u can apply it over the car.

i mean.. by doing so, here ther, ther and ther, the car will be fully covered with detergent, then u can give the tool a small break and u know wash around easily, and get the GUN back to SHOOT!

- met Gihan FX today! hmmm.. seems he is into LOADS of fun with lotz of girlss.. nice 2 meet ya brotha, and will like to join ur gang for some FUN too.. haha. <_<

the easiest way to shampoo the car if shampoo cannot be included is to get a huge ass bucket.. fill it with water and include shampoo into it.. make it lather and rather dan connecting the hose from the pressure washer to the tap.. put it into that bucket.. should work.. me think..

Zz

WOH! how didnt i get that idea.. as i told detergent washer is included FREELY. but it will work only in the low pressure mode. i should try it with your idea sometime, will let know the results.

@ Kim - low pressure mode in the sense that it being just like a garden hose or sprays with a acceptable power?

About the shampoo bucket thingy.. better be a bit careful as you cant be sure whether the washer would find it difficult vacuming the shampoo water from the bucket n overheat.. take some precautions such as thinning the shampoo by adding more water etc.. i wouldn want 2 damage ya 12.5k brand new washer would i ? <_< lolz..

Oh.. and for those interesting in the chinese thingy.. was searching for the store down panchikawatta and had a bloody time with the freakin traffic.. anyways.. the shop is onto the right hand if you are heading to kotahena from maradana... pass the first round about and as you come towards the end of that bridge the shop outta be there.. couldn pay a visit though.. was in a hurry but did see some pressure washers hanging in the store lolz..

You can buy German karcher k2 for 13 500.

'Hasana Chittaka',

Do you want to buy one of this Karcher K2 or do you have same for sale because your post is not clear.

I don't think Srilanka kacher agent import them at present due to Armature failures.

I had this machine it is an Armature type and it is not that durable like the Induction motor you have to change the armature brushes regularly,

If you use the machine daily. I personally do not recommend this machine. You can buy a Chinese machine for the quoted price or little more.

I have a Chinese machine for last few years Only I have changed two pressure hoses for this machine motor is working perfectly.

I have seen Abans advertising one, seems like its a good brand as well any idea ? Also whats the psi compared to the normal pipe water pressure ?

I dont have one of these but the water pressure where I stay seems to be quite good, so not sure if this will be a major benefit .

I just use a water spray gun attached to my compressor. It's got a 500ml tank under the handle. I also have a gravity fed Iwata gun which can spray water too, but the other gun can handle much higher pressures.

hey mr Sylvi..where did u got ur chjinese machine.how mush was it??whats the brand name???

Mr.'osanda19'

I bought some time back from Panchikawathe KBN Enterprises, their present selling cost is Rs/; 15500.00 They give me 30% discount.

Their sales point is close to A.C.Paul. it is 100 Bar Pressure washer. Chinese make have all spare parts with them.

You can mention my name as Wijesinghe Kollupitiya they know me very well because I buy plenty of water pumps and other machinery from them.

They Do direct imports from China so the can give a better discount than other shops in Panchikawahthe.

There are plenty of High pressure washes in the market most of them are Chinese If it is for your home use Chinese machine is good. I do not recommend for service stations not like karcher high pressure washers.

I have seen most auto detailing stations use Chinese machines due to the cost German Karcher the cheapest one is above 30000.00 Rupees.

I don't have any experience in Abans machine.

'terrabytetango',

Your method of spraying water is also good for out side body, but I do not know the mud inside under carriage will wash off like a pressure washer because the water pressure is much more higher than the air pressure water gun.

Abans is also selling a Chinese brand. It's the 70bar version of this: http://www.anlu.cn/p...sp?id=43&type=8

But their price was below 10,000 as i remember.

'E L N I N O',

Specification do not say any ting about the motor.

I"m using a karcher. cant remember psi figures but it's pretty high pressure.

takes very little water too. the spray pattern can be swithced from a wide pattern to a more pointed one from the trigger so it's quite convenient.

Naturally the pointy pattern is very high pressure and should be used carefully.

'Ripper',

Karcher is a very good machine Kleen park started with karcher machines. He uses now all Chinese machines with high horsepower five gun outlet operation.

'Gyiman',

Reguler water supply you pay for your water. Tube well you pay for electricity to pump up water. If you calculate there is a small diference. I have so far not calculated this yeat.

I have each floor of my building (5) tube wells and they have (5) tanks. So your pressure washer is used on the gravity fed water from the tank.

Power consumption is measured from the horse power of the motor. Without the correct information I cannot give you the cost of operation.

If your electricity bill is charged at a rate of domestic tariff then there will be different blocks, Charge will go up depending the number of units consumed.

It is different to commercial establishments. It is a flat rate of 19.55 Rupees I pay that because I have bulk 150 Ampere commercial supply and different private meters for all leased out establishments.

I too consume more than 900 units for a month. 9 of us are living in my flat with workers plenty of water is used for W/S glass polishing.

Whats the power consumption on these? Would it be cheaper than running a regular water pump on a tube well?

this is what i use

1000watts but it gets the job relatively fast so you wont be having it on for long runs.
