As mentioned, the steering, after first starting the car, is super hard to turn, and shudders a bit. Once it has been running for several minutes it does improve and drives Ok, however I have noticed it is getting stiffer more recently.
I tried the replacing of fluid exercise using a turkey baster to remove old and add new fluid. This did not seem to make a difference. The old fluid did not look particularly dirty in any event.
Would apptreciate your thoughts. She's been a reliable lady for a long time.
If it is the pump that is failing, can I recondition it somehow, or is it a replacement exercise.
So I'm kinda eyeing on Ford Focus ST 2013-2015 YOM car with a manual tranny. What do you think about the choice? any specifics I should consider before purchase?
The EP71 keeps ticking along - great grocery getter/lane zipper but unsurprisingly a bit uncomfortable on long trips - few people asking if I'm selling it as well. In a quandary as to let it go or not and what will be the replacement for a beater?
