Hey guys, How do I put a picture in here.... a jpeg

click browse below n choose the file u wish to upload assumin its on ur hard disk...click host it...wait till the imageshack window loads up and copy either the url for 'hotlink to forums' or the thumbnail link dependin on how big ur image is...paste it in ur post and ur done...

Da car doesnt look really huge isn`t it..?? Bydaway, did u do any calculations about da fuel consumption those days..?? Early 80`s means it must hav had a carburator engine right..? Might be a couple of carbs..?

And wats da max speed u`ve achived..?? Any memories about 0-100 timings..?

It was Efi no carbs ...lol.. not a single one...well as per fuel consumption it held about 50AUD worth of leaded gas or led relpacement fuel and it lasted me bout a week this was around 5 years ago...was kida a law abiding citizen sooo max speed woulda been around 110km...

Oh.. Kool scene.. an EFI engine in the early 80`s.. well the japanese cars that came here had carbs mostly, dats why i askd..

Cmon buddy.. u sud hav thrashed it a little bit and see no.. i mean dats an engine with 4.2 liters of displacement..!!

Sri Lanka says reports of blast near capital

COLOMBO (Reuters) - Sri Lanka's military said on Friday it had reports of an explosion some 10 km (6 miles) north of the capital, Colombo, possibly close to the main airport.

However, a defence ministry spokesman said the reports were still extremely sketchy.

A spokesman for the defence ministry said the explosion appeared to have taken place near Welisara, the site of a suspected Tamil Tiger claymore fragmentation mine attack earlier in the month that wounded two people.

"There is an explosion near Welisara," the spokesman said. Welisara is the site of a naval camp between Colombo and the island's only international airport, and is also close to the coast. Other sources said the blast might have been at sea.

No Explosion; the sound was a Sonic boom says the Media center for national security...

The suspected explosion that panicked the civilians in the Wattala area is now believed to be a sonic boom caused by the super sonic jets of Sri Lanka Air Force.

The fighter air craft are reported to have conducted a training session in the area today morning (23rd of June).

A sonic boom is a harmless reaction that occurs when the supersonic jets are engaged in certain maneuvers at sonic speeds.

We think its a 1972 Mitsubishi Galant. Very nicely done and very well maintained. Bugger has somehow turned it into a two door, coz the back doors have no handles. I don't think they can be opened even from the inside :rolleyes:
