It is always best to take the car to agents for a diagnostics. I have a Laser and I took it to couple of places other than agents. Well they did not do a good job. I suggest take it to agents, get a diagnostic done and then look for a place where you can get it done without any problems.

need to check a RPM related issue.

need to check the Alternate and the battary power. whether they r ok.
