Hi,

I have an Axio Hybrid NKE 165 2014 model
Mileage around 188000km.

Major replacements from time to time:
Hybrid batter replaced at Browns Hybrid on 2021 July (around 120000km)
Rear shock replaced (KYB)
Rear both Hub Razors replaced.
AC Compressor replaced (reconditioned)

Always used toyota engine oil and services, alignments done at correct intervals
Have bills to prove all of the above.

Any idea about current market value??

Thanks

For starters...you are not going to find an Axio with 188,000km that easily. As you know Axio, Premio, Allion..these cars never exceed mileages beyond 75,000..they just get younger with age :D
I/We appreciate and respect you for keeping the original mileage.

FYI...alignment is not a part of the preemptive maintenance schedule. It is a thing that is done as needed (which is what the manufacturer recommends as well). It will be needed if the wheels lose out on camber, toe-in, messed up steering rack, etc...which pretty much means it needs to be done because of hard driving, bad suspension, etc...

So...how many times did you do alignment and why ?

As for market value....why not go on the popular online sites and see what the asking prices are (get an average)...then get a valuation done (there are companies that do it). Then what you would actually get for the car would be somewhere in between the two values. There is no proper science to determine the value of your car. It is whatever the market price is and the condition of your car, which we don't know. Yes, you have a list of items that say what you have done, but that gives no indication as to how the car rides or handles or what issues it has. The reality is no matter what the value you think it is or how reasonable your price is people will ALWAYS come and criticize your car and make low-ball offers. Cars like Axios are broker magnets...so it gets really bad.

I did alignments every 5000km or when I changed tyres.

Thanks a lot for descriptive reply.

Are you talking about wheel alignment or tire rotation (i.e. putting front tires in the back and back tires in the front..depending on the vehicle criss-crossing them...so that they wear-out evenly ?

Tire rotation is fine and a good practice.

Wheel alignment every 5000km - You would typically have to get this done at a tire/suspension shop with an alignment jig/machine. It would be a waste of money to do it every 5k(so hope it wasn't some service guy who duped you into doing it to get some extra money off of you). Also, if you do need to do your alignment every 5000km that would mean there is something wrong with the car.

I am guessing you meant tire-rotation...and not wheel alignment.
