Hyundai Price

Does anyone know the price of the 2001-2004 Hyundai Sonata model.

Hows the performance of the car and are spare parts freely available.

Some of the H-matic cars used in rental fleets initially bought due to low prices (They came in at 1.6 million unregd.) and came from Singapore with the meters clocked down after running very high mileages. This resulted in a lot of electrical issues and a few costly repairs. Fuel average is about 6km/l with different parties claiming to get as low as 4 and as high as 8-9km/l.

I know all the companies that purchased these cars were eager to get rid of them within 2-3 years of purchase. The highest offers came to about 1.4 million.

Check with Aut* B@se or J@p@n L@nk@ at Delkanda for parts.

Unless you find a well maintained brandnew import with low miles, it can be a costly mistake.

The Nissan Cefiro A33 though quite thirsty and not cheap to run may be a better alternative. The prices have crashed due to fuel related concerns. A Singapore spec J Regd went for 13.25 and an auction a month ago. Best bet would be a Jap used with low mileage again.

Eitherway, with larger less common models, you have to be prepared to spend a bit when things go wrong.

used a Cefiro for few days and must say its space and comfort cannot be matched, and for that few days all the road bumps, and cracks seemed went missing :P but if u pump for few notes and keep ur eye on the fuel meter, u will feel very very sorry about everything!! :(

Very true... mind you thats for the standard 2.0L model.... we used a 2.5L "25 Eximo G" model for a few weeks some time ago.... The performance and smoothness/comfort were fantastic (this was a jap spec), and it was great to drive as well, but the fuel was a real shocker..... calculating it later we found it had don e something like 4 Km/l!!!! if you nailed the gas hard, you could actually SEE the fuel gauge drop...
