Entry List of most famous three events as follows

SL-GT upto 3500cc

1. Aravinda Premadasa - Evo7

2. Janaka Dias - Subaru WRX

3. Pasindu Pieris - Evo9

SL-H upto 3500cc

1. Kapila Jayasundara - Evo7

2. S. Nirosh - Evo3

3. Amadoru - Starlet GT

4. Ameen Deen - Starlet GT

Events of SL-GT upto 3500cc & SL-H upto 3500cc will run concurrently

SL-H upto 1600cc

1. Dinesh Jayawardana - Honda Civic

2. Pasindu Pieris - Honda Civic

3. Upulwan Serasinghe - Honda Civic

4. Nadeera Jinasena - Honda Civic

5. Sheran Fernando - Citroen

With regards to the off Road event,

It was run as three categories; Novice, Safari and extreme

There were only two novice entries,

Winner - Michael Malagala (Chrysler Jeep - old model)

Runner up - Anton (Nissan Patrol)

Safari were for the Thissa and Yala crowd using safari vehicles. (it should be noted that the winner of this event was faster than the novices)

Extreme event consisted of about 10 drivers.

Winner - Indika Sanjaya (Land Rover)

Runner Up - Viraj Rathnatileka (Mitsubishi Pajero)

2nd Runner Up - Osanda Maligaspe (Land Rover)

It was good to see a Land Rover winning all the Jeep categories at the races yesterday. I'll try posting some pics I took but they are one sided.

sorry to hijack the thread boys....

How come Jay and his M3 has been missing from the racing scene for some time now. atleast i haven't seen that car in peri's pics

with the lack of tarmac races i doubt you'd see much of the M3... i've seen the car on the road however a month or so ago...

Damn, I haven't been to a championship series proper race since the last Fox Hill. Not counting the one I got there in time to see the last race in progress. Have to do better this year.

Peri I got some pics (phone, Camera) taken by me and some of my colleagues how do I upload them onto the forum?? Been having problems uploading...
