Things were running smoothly before the change.

May be I hv waited too long.

On d position specially on the first pick up there is a certain vibration (not hudge)

& On D idle olso same. It is not a contonious vibration. I hv notice a RPM drop as well.

Tnks

RPM drop and vibration at at D position may have not anything to do with the oil change. better get the idle control valve cleaned.its a simple job.

vibration at the First Pick up is something you should attend. where dis you change the oil? hope you used the correct cvt fluid.

CVT's are prone to give problems only if not cared for. as mentioned earlier, go for one only if you have a good knowledge of the past service history. agents recommend oil change every 17,000 clicks. an engineer told me that it "jumps" in reverse because the box hasn't haeted up the oils to running temperatures, and this leads to the fidgety behavior. there may be some truth in this because mine only jumps when the engine/box is cold, and is smooth in reverse or forward from a standing start when at optimum temperature. mine has clocked 155,000km without any issues.

that being said a multimatic in sport mode is a sublime experience. a manual would have to be fed some forced air to surpass that "aathal" :) i've had one for a year now and wouldn't give it up for the world...

the main cause of this "jump" in reverse in mornings is the reverse clutch. it takes a while to get the optimum oil pressure and temperature to the reverse clutch in the cold start.
