Lancer Cedia car - Maximum Rs. 2 Mil (I've seen brand new imported G plate ones going for even 1.5Mil )

Conversion kit - Rs. Maximum 500,000

Installation/Interior/Extras etc -RS. 500,000

Total Maximum cost - 3 Mil

Add another healthy profit Margin of Rs. 500,000 and cost still is 3.5 Mil. So bottom line is your getting ripped off Rs. 2 Mil.

Plus the reality is no one wants to buy a conversion that has been done by someone else. I've seen a black Evo 6 convert being advertised without any luck for ages. If someone wants a convert, they prefer getting it done by themselves by a trusted mechanic. Conversion are a low cost alternative to the real thing. There's no point loosing the price advantage. These car sale buggers are trying to make a big buck trying to sell it to un-informed customers.

noticed a Grey Evo (possibly a 6 ) on Malay Street earlier tonight - GM Plate (but the plates weren't actually fitted to the car)

Looked like it had a fresh coat of paint - lights on the front bumper were off

did notice Recaro's which came on newer cars.. & a FMIC

Saw a white EVO III on thursday near st mary's church bamba. It looked in pretty poor shape, exhuast giving a bit of black smoke out.

Here's the list for the non -horizontally opposed fans. I have no count on any models from Evo 1-3.

No Converts. Only the real thing. But the non regsitered (No Reg) cars are most probably grey imports used only for racing purposes.

Blue - Nishan's old car changed hands to a lot including Velocity now with Richard I think

Black - Track car with anti lag

Evo5

White - Track car of Dan (not sure)

White - sold sometime back by Pradeep Jayawardene. This car is now running an EVO 6 body on a body permit after the spectacular accident at fox hill

Evo 6

Blue - Ajmal, now with Dhanuka

Blue - totaled by someone's mechanic on the road.

Black - sold recently by Dasraj (totaled recently I hear?)

White - In Galle (Very well looked after car)

Tommi Makinen Edition - Evilmak (Cared for like a baby)

Blue - Unicorn (Mahinda) sold recently(No reg)

Silver - Aravinda's old track car now with Madz's cousins (Listed on AL for sale)
