we've found the R8 V12 TDI's Achilles' heel!

hmmm its not encouraging when a reviewer says it sounds like a blender ...and to add to it , even if the production car osunds any better , we're all now gonna know that its cuz of some trick active exhaust or something to that effect

but with a spec sheet like that , somethings gotta give somewhere i guess... hmmm i'm guessing its gotta neat sound system - so what say someone throw in a CD with a Ferrari engine recorded on and play it

on idle at 1:38 on the clip it sounds mediocre (&that being gracious!) ....when revved it sounds very mechanical - kinda like an angry autobot on a mission!

hmmm i suppose one could live with it , but it doesn't sound pretty thats for sure!
