Cleaning Alloys

hi Guys,

The old car I am restoring (or trying to at least) comes with original Magnesium alloy wheels which need to be cleaned and specced.

Anyone know the best way to do this? Worried about solvent based cleaners due to the possible reactions with the magnesuim.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Nothing major.

Yup need to find a media blasting place.

Seen it on Overhaulin !

Not sure if sunny sri lanka has a place.....

Guys anyone who knows ?

Is it the same as sand blasting ? ( Pardon the ignorance)
