the lower portion of the bumper looks like it came straight off the new VW Sirocco!

100% agreed with Devinda. And also the hood of the beetle looks similar to Sirocco with that black sunroof part. This is absolutely Cost effective car designing and manufacturing (I think Volkswagen is going to use the same mould to manufacture both bumper types, for the beetle and sirocco.......cool!!!!!!!!!!!)
