Yes. I want a new(ish) one. Have spent too much time and money on old Alfa Romeos to go through the same with bikes :D

Anyway I'm not very much into bikes and have a lot to learn. Had just one when I was 18 a Honda MBX 125 for a few years, after learning to ride on a clapped out Suzuki 125 twin. Enjoyed the whole concept of virtually living on a bike but the damn thing broke down so often :angry: .

Somehow I've never warmed up to Dukes for some reason. And have always thought highly of Yamahas. But after reading up a bit I had to take note of MV As 75 rider and manufacturers titles and 270+ Gran Prix wins. It's like the Alfa of bikes so it must be great.

Yeah I dream of an F4. Was thrilled to see Batman (ok Bruce Wayne) ride one in The Dark Night! Once my cars are done I'll certainly look at one and will need your help for sure. Unless the stock market is very kind to me it should be at least a years time. :)

Took my oldest girl out on last sunday after a long time,all was going well for sometime but after awhile she lost her temper and started to heat up,so had to tow her back...some pics

had to improvise to get her out,cos of ongoing landscaping at my place,hence the logs :lol:

Just a quickfire Q... is the resto complete or am i seeing dings and scrapes?

btw... AL has no adveritisng policy so that WD40 can you conveniently placed on the bonnet will have to go i think :P:lol:

the restoration was done many moons ago machang,but the paint is going bad cos we niglected this car for sometime(i was studying,dad was busy)..but the mechanical side is still excellant

but i do feel a little humiliated when seeing how other guys treat thier TC's.....must do summin' about the paint

the WD40..wasn't for the car..it was for my armpits!!!...i needed it after driving this thing on the back roads of kelaniya :P:lol:

man...i too use that for many things but this gotta be the best or at least the most creepiest usage so far :) :)

on the paint machang...i though i saw a ding on the front grill....the chrome one...

anyways...not to diss you piss you off... i once went to check this car for an advert... A Jaguat SS100 or summin like that... Immaculate condition mate... supposed to be the only one in SL... Not a piece of fly poop on it... :)

Hopefully after a paint job and some TLC, your MG too can be like that... :)

and what are the backroads you took her in kelaniya mate... Roads are not the best there among few other things :P

yeah i know that car very well...i do have another T that is up to those standards...

yep wont take much effort to take this too to show status(although this will never feature in one) :D

i take the old kandy road to the "tyre" junc and back,it's relatively a good road

we might need a decent location though since using flash to light up cars in the dark is not something i'm good at :)

there is no particular person we give or cars to,mechanical,tinkering,painting,upholstery,are done by "pro's" specialising in each area at our house....the fitting(meters,dashboard and stuff) is mostly done by me on my free time,so are all the basic painting excluding the final finishing coat.

stuff like the chrome work,wiring are done at very trustworthy shops.

so if you need someone to for any particular job i'd be happy do reccomend one of my people to you ..but i have to warn you that these dudes are very good but also very expensive :)
