About Pitstop

K3Z

Question

I read on a some thread (can't find it though.. :action-smiley-060: ), that some AutoLanka.com users had bad experiences with Pitstop.

I'm thinking of going to Pitstop for service my car, since it is close to my home and charges are quit cheap. At-least according to there website.

I was wondering what the bad experiences, you guys had with them...

thx.

haha well different strokes for different folks I guess!

anyway machan AFAIK they stock only Castrol and BP oils devZ uses Mobil so i think he manages to take his oil in.

um, i don't do engine oil chnages there - i get that done@ A*W and then take the car for the rest of the service bits to PitStop

Last weekend did a Brake fluid flush at there.. Got a spongy brake pedal before.. after Flush everything's back to normal..

they used BP D.O.T 4 Brake fluid..

had the same issue and a flush sorted it all out - nearly 500kms later can safely say the DOT 4 is doing quite nicely :)

The whole concept of 'servicing' IMO is over rated. Best thing is to get all the mechanical bits and oils changed at a proper garage and send the car for cleaning & waxing to a car wash! (like I do) The garage will also be able to give you the right advice on what running repairs actually needs to be done on car. AutoFor*e does this as a 'package'
