Date : 30th of August (Sunday)

Plan :

• Assemble early - Thalawathugoda Junction @ 0830hrs

• Breakfast en route or take snacks
• Reach Kitulgala at least by 11 am latest.
• 2 rooms provided for all courtesy of the MFOC
• Can book separate rooms for family (on personal expence)
• We hit the river / pool (skinny dippin allowed upon prior approval jk)

• Take our own liquor
• Lunch - paid in advance to treasurer by attendees

• Group Photo

• Tea

• Depart

Was in Kitulgala as part of the rally, on Saturday and the river is in full spate due to the rains.

Good thing we have a pool.....and the other liquids too.

Had a chat with GuruG, and we thought we will meet at the Thalawatugoda Junction at 8.30 am on Sunday.

Given that we will be driving with families and stopping for breakfast and photos this should get us to the hotel in time for a dip and a late lunch.

If we can get everyone to agree , 8 am is way better than 8.30......am.

Will send a mail out to the committee on the emergency stuff we need to carry along.

Sorry to barge in on this like this... my friend has been offered a great deal on 98 Ford Courier truck that has been maintained well. What is the going rate for one of those? Drives like a car, engine is smooth as a Diesel can be and lovingly maintained by the forst and only owner. 253-XXXX. what will be the ideal selling price?

Will not be easier to meet in Malabe Junction? Both roads from Malabe will take you to Kithulgala... via Kaduwela, Ranala, Hanwella on the low level or via Athurugiriya, Godagama via High Level (bit longer).

If we meet in Malabe... then Millennium Drive is there for a big enough parking place and a nice photo op!
